Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean will this week look to complete the signings of two players to add to his squad before the Premiership starts next week.
Blackpool goalkeeper Matt Gilks is a target of the 43 year old Rovers manager and he will be looking to tie up a move for the 26 year old keeper on a permanent deal by Wednesday. The other target on Kean’s list is that of Bosnian striker Ermin Zec who is believed to be ready to hand in a transfer request knowing that the Lancashire side are interested in bringing him to the Premiership.
Zec currently plays for Gençlerbirliği S.K. but has not found the sort of form that got him 33 league goals in 79 appearances when he played for Šibenik between 2007 and 2010. The international could be available for as little as £4m whilst keeper Gilks could be available for a cut price £2m despite an impressive debut season in the Premiership last year.
