Blackburn Rovers midfielder rejects Leeds United loan move

Blackburn Rovers midfielder, Keith Andrews, has rejected a loan move to Leeds United, and is instead expected to complete a move to rival Championship side, Ipswich Town.

The midfielder is rumoured to have been the subject of interest from several Championship sides, after he was limited to only five league appearances last season.

When speaking to the Yorkshire Post, Andrews’ agent Will Salthouse stated: “Leeds are still interested (in the future), but he just feels there’s an opportunity somewhere else and at this moment in time, it’s the best opportunity for him.”

Salthouse added: “There have been seven or eight of the top Championship clubs interested in him and the decision has been made on the fact that he’s found the club where he’s comfortable and feels he can develop again.”
