Reports from Lancashire have claimed that Blackburn Rovers are on the verge of signing current Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf on a permanent deal to start in the summer.
The Senegalese international has been on loan at Blackburn since the start of the season and although his scoring has not been prolific, Rovers believe they have someone who is still young enough to improve.
At 23 years old Diouf has been modest during his time at Rovers, focusing only on the job in hand and refusing to discuss his future at either the Lancashire club or Manchester United.
With Manchester United having found Chicharito during the summer and the impressive Danny Welbeck likely to return to Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to be happy listening to any bids for the striker.
