Blackburn unveil unwanted player wages in secret list
Blackburn Rovers are striving to sell a number of their playing staff after a secret list revealed the salaries of certain unwanted members.
The list was revealed by the club’s Indian owners, Venky’s, who are looking to cut £125,000-a-week from their current wage bill, and are hoping the list will attract clubs looking to buy.
Keith Andrews, Vince Grella and El-Hadji Diouf all feature on the list and are currently on £21,000-a-week, £30,000-a-week and £30,000-a-week respectively, as well as bonuses for every game they play.
Blackburn have had a slow transfer window, and are hoping some sales will free up funds for possible transfers.
