The Blues agree deal with Juan Cuadrado, clubs stalling over transfer

Juan Cuadrado is reportedly one step closer to sign Chelsea. The Colombian winger has been linked with a transfer to the Blues for the past few weeks.

Fiorentina will only sell their star man if Chelsea match his £26.8 million release clause, but there are supposedly discussions to loan Mohamed Salah to the Viola as part of the deal.

As the two clubs struggling to come to an agreement, a new report in media has indicated that the 26-year-old has agreed personal terms with the West London club ahead of a transfer, even with the two sides in the early stages of negotiations.

The other report believes that Cuadrado’s agent has been in London for the past few days to work on the agreement, and now all that is being waited on is the two clubs finding an acceptable transfer offer.

Even though Salah has been offered to the Viola to lower any potential fee that will have to be paid, Chelsea are still waiting on the outgoing transfer of Andre Schurrle before making a concrete offer, with the need to comply with Financial Fair Play doing much to stabilise their transfer activity.
