Manchester City striker, Craig Bellamy, is set to reject interest from Tottenham and Liverpool to stay at the Etihad Stadium for another season.
The news has emerged after the Welsh international was denied of being bailed out of the last 12 months of his contract, leaving him to serve them as a City player.
The 32 was being heavily linked with a return to Anfield, but was thought to prefer a move to White Hart Lane.
Bellamy’s £90,000-a-week wages have proven too expensive for City to pay off, and should the striker move in the next two days, it seems it will not be on a free transfer as speculated.
