Top of the table Juventus will be looking to continue their excellent unbeaten run this weekend when they travel to relegation threatened Bologna in a fascinating Serie A clash.
Juventus have gone 22 games unbeaten in the league and are currently leading the way in the race for the title. However, a 0-0 draw with Siena last time out warned them that they have plenty of work to do yet.
They are also only a point clear of 2nd placed AC Milan going into this weekend’s fixtures and even though they have a game in hand, this does add pressure to the trip to Bologna. If they slip up, Milan could be ready to pounce.
Antonio Conte’s men have been solid on the road this season though. They have drawn five and won five of their 10 Serie A away games and this is an impressive stat. They have also only conceded six times on their travels.

As for Bologna, well they are looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone at the moment. They may well be five points clear of the bottom three, but they know how quickly things can change.
After a run of four successive draws, they need to return to winning ways as quickly as possible and although this will be difficult against league leaders Juventus, they must go into Sunday evening’s contest with self-belief.
After all, when these two teams met earlier this year, Bologna came away from Juventus with a valuable 1-1 draw. A repeat of this scoreline would be more than welcome for the home team.
Juventus do normally have the upper hand when these two teams meet though. In the last 20 Serie A meetings, Bologna have won just once, although this was as recent as last season.
Overall, this is a game that Juventus will be expected to win, but the pressure is on right now and they will know that Bologna are capable of causing an upset. The first goal could be crucial in this 7.45pm kick-off on Sunday evening.
