Owen Coyle has wrapped up a double swoop for two of his former Burnley charges, Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears.
The duo have been reunited with the Scot at the Reebok Stadium, both penning three-year deals that will make them Trotters until 2014.
Bolton manager, Owen Coyle, stated: “Both Chris and Tyrone are top players and have shown that they have the ability to compete successfully at the highest level,”
“I have worked with them both before and know what they will bring to the club in terms of character and commitment and along with Nigel Reo-Coker, we have added real quality to the squad” Coyle added.
25 year-old Eagles is looking forward to the Premier League challenge, noting: “I know that it is a good squad so the challenge for me will be to work hard and then look to contribute.”
Teammate Tyrone Mears, 28, also spoke on his new club, adding: “It wasn’t a difficult decision at all. I know exactly what the manager expects from his players and I’m more than ready for it.”
