Bolton manager, Owen Coyle, is ready to make his move to sign Manchester City duo, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Belgian international, Dedryck Boyata.
Wright-Phillips has been associated with a move away from the Etihad Stadium for some time now, and would reportedly accept a £2m move to Bolton in an effort to stay close to his family.
The 29 year-old has fallen out of favour with Roberto Mancini, as the Italian continues to shape his new-look Manchester City.
Wages were proving an obstacle in the deal, however Wright-Phillips may now take a pay-cut in an effort to salvage his career at the Reebok Stadium.
Boyata on the other hand would move to the Trotters on a season-long loan deal. However Coyle faces competition from Blackburn, Everton and West Brom who also admire the 20 year-old.
