Liverpool have confirmed that David N’Gog has left the club to join Bolton Wanderers.
The former France U-21 international made 61 appearances for the Merseysiders, netting nine times in the process.
Owen Coyle is reported as being a long-term admirer of the 6ft 3inch forward, and is pleased to add another striker to his ranks following the departure of Johan Elmander earlier this summer.
N’Gog was pushed out of Kenny Dalglish’s plans for Liverpool after the arrivals of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez, and with the impending arrival of Craig Bellamy, his chances for first team football would surely be better with the Trotters.
