Hull City midfielder, Jimmy Bullard, has been suspended “pending an inquiry into recent events”.
It is understood that the suspension is regarding an alleged breach of the club’s discipline code whilst on their tour of Slovenia.
A statement on the club’s official website read: “We will be completing the investigation before making any further comment.”
The 32 year-old joined the Tigers for £5m in 2009 but has only played 24 games for the Yorkshire outfit since signing.
It’s understood that the club are looking to offload Bullard in a effort to remove his £50,000-a-week wages from their expenses.
