Bundesliga clubs aiming swoop on Arsenal striker

Bendtner is wanted by at least two Bundesliga teamsBoth Hamburg and Werder Bremen are keen to add Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner to their squad when the transer window opens this summer. The striker has not really flourished at the Emirates and it is not the first time this year that the Dane has been linked with a move away from the club.

Werder Bremen look to have dug deep to climb out of trouble in the Bundesliga although they are far from safe at the moment and will not be in a position to be able to offer Bendtner any form of European competition.

Hamburg SV on the other hand are closing in on a Europa League place but are still some points of guaranteeing that for next season. With both clubs looking to add more firepower in the new season, they see Bendtner as an ideal purchase who would “enjoy life in the Bundesliga” and be “relatively inexpensive”.

Should Arsenal agree, and it looks as though they will allow Bendtner to leave in the summer, then a fresh start in the Bundesliga looks the most likely.
