There is nowhere else to start than with the champions though and Bayern Munich will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Augsburg in what will be Jupp Heynckes’ final match at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern were held to a 1-1 draw by Borussia Dortmund last time out in what was a dress rehearsal for the Champions League final later in the month and Heynckes knows how important momentum is in the next few weeks, so all three points are a must here.
It is a massive game for Augsburg though as they currently sit in the relegation play-off spot, but any sort of result here could lift them out of the bottom three.
It is difficult to make a case for anything other than a home victory and Bayern can be backed at 6/17 to come out on top here.
Borussia Dortmund look to be guaranteed second place as they are six points clear of Bayer Leverkusen and have a much better goal-difference, but Jurgen Klopp will still be after a strong finish to the campaign.
Dortmund head to Wolfsburg on Saturday and with the latter not having a great deal to play for, this should be a comfortable afternoon for the Champions League finalists. You can back an away win at 10/11.
Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen can ensure they end the campaign in third position with a result at home to Hannover.
Leverkusen know that third places brings automatic qualification for Europe’s elite club competition, so a result is vital.
Hannover sit in ninth and are another side with just pride to play for in the final two matches.
Schalke entertain Stuttgart as well and with the former three points clear of Eintracht Frankfurt in fifth, this is a massive game for the hosts.
If they win, it is tough to see Frankfurt catching them and as Stuttgart have lost their last two, Schalke should take the spoils this weekend. You can back them at 2/5.
Frankfurt know they need a victory when they make the journey to Werder Bremen, who are also desperate for points as they are just three clear of the bottom three right now.
Although both sides are after a win, the draw could prove to be good value in this one at 11/4.
Fortuna Dusseldorf have been in shocking form over recent weeks and they are only ahead of Augsburg on goal-difference right now.
With Augsburg at Bayern this weekend, Dusseldorf know they might have a chance to take a massive step towards safety and they are at home to Nurnberg this weekend, who have lost their last four and seem to be on their holidays already.
Hoffenheim still have hope of staying up, but they have to beat Hamburger on Saturday afternoon.
The final two matches to look at see Greuther Furth and Freiburg lock horns, while Borussia Monchengladbach make the journey to Mainz.
It should be an enthralling day of action in the Bundesliga.
