Celtic are reportedly looking to sign Sunderland goalkeeper, Craig Gordon, after the Black Cats signed Keiran Westwood on a free transfer and Simon Mignolet showing impressive form as starting No.1.
Arsenal were showing interest in the Scottish international, however dropped out of the race for his signature when Wojciech Szczesny was approved as the club’s new No.1.
Gordon joined from Hearts in 2007 for a sum of £9m, but his last two season in goal have been blighted by a string of injuries including a broken arm.
Celtic are short on goalkeeper’s after last year’s loanee, Frasier Forster, returned to Newcastle and current starter, Lukasz Zaluska, showing a questionable dip in form of late.
