Reports from Scotland are claiming that Celtic are ready to make a January bid for Sevilla striker, Arouna Kone.
Kone, who is currently on loan at Levante, has scored just one goal for Sevilla but has shown much more promise whilst on loan.
The 27 year-old has won 35 caps for Ivory Coast since making his debut in 2004, and scored nine goals in the process.
As well as having international experience however, Kone has also featured for seven clubs in he 11-year senior career. Beginning at Rio Sport, the forward has gone on to enjoy spells with Lierse, Roda, PSV and Hannover, presenting a potentially valuable mind for Celtic to have in their arsenal.
It’s unknown how much Kone would cost the Bhoys. However, due to his age and low sell-on value, the Scottish Premier League wouldn’t be expected to pay over the odds for the forward.
