One of the pick of the ties on Tuesday has to be Real Madrid hosting Borussia Dortmund in Group D, which is a battle between first and second in this group.
Whoever comes out on top in this one would move a step closer to qualifying for the knockout stages and after Dortmund beat Real last time out, it should be a super encounter.
Jose Mourinho’s side are around the 1/2 mark to take all the points, while Jurgen Klopp’s side can be backed around the 7/1 mark, which looks just about right considering the German champions have stuttered in Bundesliga recently, succumbing to a disappointing draw with Stuttgart on the weekend.
Things are really heating up in Group B, with Arsenal desperate for three points as they travel to Germany to face Schalke. Arsene Wenger’s men have already suffered defeat in the group, losing in the reverse tie at the Emirates 2-1, and with Greek side Olympiakos within touching distance of second place a defeat is unthinkable.
The Gunners are, however, 7/2 to take the away win which just shows where the team is now. A disappointing defeat to Man Utd on the weekend will not have done anything to increase the optimism of the away fans and 10/11 on Schalke looks worth taking.
Elsewhere, Malaga can extend their lead at the top of Group C to eight points if results go their way and with that, ensure that they will head into the knockout stages when they take on Italian giants AC Milan.
The La Liga outfit have a 100% record in the Champions League so far and are full of confidence right now, whereas Milan are desperate for the points to move clear of third place.
The other game in Group C sees Anderlecht take on Zenit St Petersburg.
Porto are another side to have a 100% record in the competition and they travel to Dynamo Kiev, where a win would see them guarantee a place in the last sixteen.
Paris Saint Germain then host Dinamo Zagreb and the visitors will be the big underdogs after not managing to accumulate a point in the Champions League so far.
The final game to look at on Tuesday evening is between two sides that need the points to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages as French champions Montpellier travel to Olympiakos.
The Greek side were victorious when these two last met and could even move level with second place with a victory, whereas Montpellier have just one point and are short of any sort of confidence right now.
It should be another superb night of action in this thrilling tournament.
