QPR have had a good start in the league as they have seven points from three matches, but Bolton have only managed to two points so far and know they need to start winning games.
At 9/5, betting on the away team to take the spoils here might be good value. Harry Redknapp will be after all three points here as he needs a flying start to the season. He knows it is going to be tough, but there is no doubt QPR have the quality to take this one.
As for Bolton, this is a big game for them and Dougie Freedman’s side need to put in a big performance to come out on top. On home soil, they are sure to fancy their chances.
There are then nine games getting underway at 3pm and the pick of them could be Blackpool taking on Reading.
Neither side has lost in the league yet, but Blackpool are in the better position as they have seven points, compared to Reading’s five.
Paul Ince will be pleased with how his men have started but knows it is only a good start and they have to build on it. Reading are going to be a tough team to beat this season and in truth, the draw looks to be value here at 5/2.
Elsewhere, Brighton and Burnley lock horns in what should be an interesting encounter, especially as the latter have won their last two and looked in fine form.
Doncaster have had a solid start to the season and they will be after their second win when locking horns with Charlton at the Valley. The hosts haven’t won a game yet and at 3/1, Doncaster might prove to be a decent bet here.
Neither Sheffield Wednesday nor Millwall have won a game so far and they meet at Hillsborough on Saturday afternoon. Wednesday have managed a point as they drew at Leeds last time out, but it is three defeats in a row for Millwall and they have to start picking up some results.
Ipswich Town and Leeds United are both aiming for the top six this season and they meet at Portman Road this weekend. This is another game where the draw appeals as it has odds of 12/5.
Blackburn and Barnsley also go head to head, Bournemouth make the journey to Huddersfield and Yeovil Town entertain Derby County.
Finally, Leicester City and Birmingham City meet in a Midlands derby that should be a cracking watch. Leicester are on four points right now and Birmingham are on three, so both sides know a win could take them into the top six.
The Foxes are at 8/11 here and will be expected to come out on top.
Bring on a cracking day of action in the Championship.
