Chances of Dutchman now joining Manchester United are zero

Cleverley is seen as the man to run the midfield for United over the next ten yearsFootybunker.com have been led to believe that Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder will not be joining Manchester United with this summers transfer window the 27 year old’s final chance at joining Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

The player has been heavily linked with a move to the club over the past two seasons and it was believed that the summer of 2011 would be his time to move to the Premiership. However our source suggests that with the player now heading closer to the 30 mark, and his love for life in Italy means Manchester United will no longer be persuing any interest in the Netherlands international.

“Wesley is getting older and Manchester United are a club looking to add youthful players. The price of Wesley is a lot to ask from any club. His experience would have helped the club this year but it was not to be, I would consider his chances of being a Manchester United player in the future as zero.”

Whilst missing out on Sneijder this summer did dishearten certain fans, many feel the ability of Tom Cleverley will prove to be the bargain of the summer with the 22 year old set for a long season in midfield.
