Chelsea and Arsenal monitoring £7m winger
Reports in Turkey are claiming that both Chelsea and Arsenal are chasing the £7m reated winger Issiar Dia who currently plays for Fenerbahçe in the Turkish first division.
Dia only signed for the Turkish giants last season joining from French club Nancy in a €6m move. The 23 year old has also picked up numerous international caps for Senegal.
Dia’s time in Fenerbahçe has not been his best, failing to find the form that allowed him to score 18 goals whilst in France and the reports suggest that Arsenal and Chelsea are looking at the player as a possible back up for the wider areas.
At just £7m, Dia, who will be 24 in June, is relatively good value for the paceman and would provide good width for Chelsea’s 4-3-3 system and to cover the likes of Walcott and Arshavin at the Emirates.
