There are three FA Cup encounters getting underway on Sunday with one fourth round replay and two fifth round ties.
The fourth round replay is between Chelsea and Brentford at Stamford Bridge.
It has to be played this weekend due to Chelsea’s commitments in the Europa League and a trip to Middlesbrough awaits for the winners of this one.
FA Cup : Paddy Power Free Bets Offer
Its a bumper Sunday of FA Cup football as Paddy Power celebrate with a new free bets offer worth £250/€250 to customers to spend on any of the three games! Claim here!
The European Champions won’t be happy that they need a reply to get past their League One opposition, but they can count themselves lucky they are still in the compeition as a late Fernando Torres goal was needed for them to claim a 2-2 draw.
Brentford were brilliant at Griffin Park last month and they can come to the Bridge with the pressure somewhat off them as nothing is expected.
There should be a cracking atmosphere here with the away fans making lots of noise and with the shocks we have seen in the FA Cup so far, you can’t write Brentford off. However, Chelsea should be too strong and are red-hot favourites at 1/6 to win here.
Then, Manchester City host Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium and with this looking like the only trophy that the Citizens can win this campaign, they have to put a strong side out.
City fans have not had a great deal to cheer this season and Roberto Mancini knows that he needs to deliver some silverware this year.
After the 3-1 defeat to Southampton last weekend, the Italian is likely to make a number of changes as he was fuming with the performance that his men put in on the south coast. City are at 2/9 to win here.
Leeds will come to the Etihad and look to spring a surprise though and after they beat Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round, will be quietly confident of getting something here, even though they are out at 16/1 to win.
Neil Warnock is sure to have his team up for this one and if they can get in Man City’s faces early on and grab the first goal, there could be a famous result for the Championship outfit here.
Finally on Sunday, Huddersfield Town entertain Wigan Athletic in a game that both sides will be confident of winning.
Huddersfield are struggling in the Championship, but their FA Cup performances have been superb and this is a welcome distraction from the league at the moment.
Wigan will look at the teams left in the competition and know they are in with a very good chance of reaching the semi-finals and that of course means a day out to Wembley.
Like their opponents, the Latics are not in good form in the league, so need to use this encounter as a chance to build a bit of confidence and they are at 6/5 to win. This has the makings of being a superb cup tie between two teams that love to play attacking football.
It should be a cracking day of action in FA Cup and there is certainly the potential for a shock or two.
