John Terry has praised Manchester United’s summer recruitments, but insists that they are not clear favourites.
Manchester United ran away with the Premier League title last season, finishing nine points above the Blues, and also started the new campaign with a 100% record.
However Andre Villas-Boas has made an average start to the Premier League, with four points out of a possible six, whilst the Red Devils outplayed Tottenham at Old Trafford on Monday night but England and Chelsea Captain John Terry is not worried.
“I’m not sure if the gap between ourselves and Manchester United is bigger this season.” John Terry said.
“They have obviously bought players for the future.”
“I like the look of Phil Jones. Chris Smalling who came in last season looks good too, as does Ashley Young.”
“Their team is set-up for the future, but in the shorter term, there aren’t many differences between this season and last.”
