Chelsea FC and Anderlecht no closer to agreeing fee for starlet
Footybunker.com has been led to believe that West London side Chelsea FC are no nearer to agreeing a fee with Belgian side Anderlecht for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku.
The two clubs have had meetings this week to try and meet on some common ground regarding a realistic fee for the highly rated 18 year old however the Belgian club are still holding out for a figure close to £30m whilst Chelsea are only prepared to offer nearer £20m.
Lukaku has made it clear in the past that he would like to join Chelsea however should discussions continue to be a moot point Anderlecht will be happy to keep on board for the forthcoming season. With values for certain players looking to be somewhat out of control it is unlikely that any other side will want to hijack the move and we believe there are more talks between the clubs to be held next week.
