Chelsea FC manager keen on two new defenders

Chelsea FC manager Andres Villas-Boas has highlighted two defenders that he would like to bring to Stamford Bridge despite the side possessing the best defence in the Premier League last season.

It is believed the 33 year old manager would like to add more athleticism to the back line and preparing to look into the likes of Real Madrid’s Pepe and Porto’s Rolando as serious options to add to the already solid defence. Whilst most will suggest it is only the attacking options that Chelsea need to look into, one could admire the manager for realising that things always need to be tweaked, regardless of how impressive they were last year.

With the likes of Turan, Lukaku and Pastore highly likely to join the club officially soon, Villas-Boas does which to make some finishing touches on the defence before starting his first Premiership and Champions League campaign with the West London club.
