Chelsea FC manager makes official complaint

Chelsea FC manager Andre Villas Boas has made an official complaint to referees chief Mike Riley after their recent 3-1 loss at the hands of Manchester United last Sunday.

The West London side were the victim of two goals that were marginally offside but not ruled out by the linesman or the match referee Phil Dowd.

“I’m very unhappy with a poor display from the referees that had a decisive role in the result. I don’t take it very lightly. You expect the linesman to do his job.”

The 33 year old manager continued.

“I already went further ahead with the situation by speaking to the correct people. We all feel very, very down when the referee had such an impact on the result.”

Whilst the complaint is unlikely to bring about any repercussions for the referee after that performance the complaint will certainly be noted.
