Chelsea FC switch attention to Brazilian midfielder

Fernando is yet another Porto player that interests ChelseaChelsea FC are looking to reunite Porto’s Fernando Francisco Reges with current manager Andre Villas Boas and the West London club are considering making a bid for the Brazilian.

The 24 year old has been with Porto since 2007 and it is hoped he could join up with his former manager and team mate Raul Meireles during the winter transfer window.

Porto though are reluctant to sell any of their players this month and are likely to rebuff any advances by the West London club until the end of the season. Chelsea have been linked with a few players at Porto over the last few months with Hulk, Perreira and Mountinho all considered as possible new arrivals.

With Chelsea still lacking that killer instinct in midfield, Fernando could the player to unlock more doors and although he does not find the net himself often, his accurate passing is something that Chelsea look to be keen on.
