Chelsea FC look set to lose out on young Argentine playmaker Javier Pastore with the Palermo player looking to remain in Italy with Inter Milan hovering to make a move.
The Serie A giants consider Pastore to be the perfect long term replacement for Wesley Sneijder and the club are awaiting confirmation that the 22 year old will join them before allowing Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder to move to Manchester United in a move worth £35m.
Whilst Inter Milan would obviously keep Sneijder on their books they have come to realise that it is time for the 27 year old to move on however, as is the done things these days, wish to keep hold of him until something is agreed between themselves and Palermo. With Pastore keen to stay on Italian soil, Inter Milan are the one big club looking to take him on board however they will need slightly more than £35m of Manchester United’s Sneijder money to match the current €45m offer on the table by Chelsea.
With the player not wishing to join the Premier League, Pastore looks to be one player that will unfortunately not be arriving at Stamford Bridge this summer.
