Chelsea FC willing to listen to offers for two forwards

Chelsea FC are willing to listen to any serious offers have for Nicolas Anelka and Saloman Kalou and will not no longer be looking to offer Didier Drogba in part exchange for Luka Modric.

Anelka and Kalou have both been listed as surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge as they look to bolster the squad under new manager Andre Villas-Boas. Anelka has been widely tipped to leave Chelsea this summer with New York a possible destination and Saloman Kalou has main been a substitute for Chelsea over the last two seasons and will be sold on, probably a team in Serie A.

Villas-Boas however is keen to keep Drogba and has asked the board to make an improved offer for Luka Modric or target his former Porto player Mountinho. The Chelsea board are keen to see Modric make the initiative and hand in a transfer request rather than increasing their bid but feel that Tottenham may be in a position to offer him an improved deal to stay at White Hart Land.
