Chelsea fifty-fifty on next striker import

Chelsea are said to be evaluating their striking options and sources claim it is fifty-fifty as to whether they try to sign current Porto forward Falcao or Inter Milan striker Samual Eto’o.

Eto’o mentioned recently that he would like to play in the Premiership and although he is now 30 years old the striker is being seen as a possible three year replacement for Didier Drogba.

Falcao has been impressive at Porto and new Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is believed to be wanting the 25 year olf Colombian to join him at Stamford Bridge.

With talks between Villas-Boas and Ron Goulay ongoing, a decision is likely to be made next week as to which striker would prove most beneficial to the side as they look to complete a successful Champions League campaign.
