Chelsea in the hunt for Everton sensation
Reports are suggesting that Ross Barkley will be a main January target for Chelsea manager, Andre Villas Boas.
The Chelsea manager has become a fan of the Merseyside youngster this season after a string of fine performances for the senior team.
Wayne Rooney is Everton’s most expensive export to date, and Toffees boss, David Moyes, is adamant it will take a fee of near £20m to take the midfielder from Goodison Park.
Manchester United have also shown an interest in the 17 year-old sensation, and cash-strapped Everton will have a tough fight on their hands if they’re looking to keep a hold of their starlet in coming transfer windows.
