The agent of Juventus and Serbia playmaker Milos Krasic has confirmed that Chelsea are interested in the 27 year old and that he will be moving in January.
Although the players agent, Dejan Joksimovic, does not confirm whether other sides find the player of interest, it is likely there will be other interested parties after his signature, not least from other clubs in Italy.
“The player will leave Juventus in January. He has lived these past months with little peace due to the rumours which appear in the newspapers. Chelsea are interested in the player.”
Chelsea have been on the look out for a new playmaker with the Stamford Bridge side having been knocked back last summer for Luka Modric and Javier Pastore. Whilst the above two are younger it does appear strange that the side are looking into a player of 27 years when there are younger alternatives out there.
With Villas Boas looking to add his own style to the side, Krasic may be a player that he feels would fit in amongst Lampard and co and should a bid be forthcoming from Chelsea in January then it will remain interesting to see what effect the Serbia international has on the squad.
