Sources in Berlin are claiming that Chelsea are keen to land Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin’s left back Ronny.
The Brazilian who will turn 25 next month has perhaps been a little unlucky, mainly having to contend with a spot on the bench ahead of seasoned internationals however with the Stamford Bridge club looking for a long term successor to Ashley Cole, and in addition wanting more Brazilian talent, Ronny may the main choice despite playing in the second Bundesliga.
The left back first began his professional career at Corinthians before moving to Sporting who won his signature ahead of Manchester City and PSG.
Ronny is more well known for his attacking ability than his defence and although he may be Brazilian, Chelsea would need only to find £1m if they truly are interested.
