Chelsea new-boy eager to impress

Romelu Lukaku had admitted that making his Chelsea debut was an “amazing” feeling and remains hopeful that he will make many more appearances as a blue. The 18-year-old came off the bench to make his Chelsea debut, replacing £50 million star Fernando Torres in the final 7 minutes of their 3-1 win over Norwich on Saturday.

The Belgium international has already spoken of his love for Chelsea, revealing that he supported the club prior to signing for them. He has also admitted that he is living out his dream and will fight hard to become a regular in Andre Villas-Boas’ starting line-up.

“It was amazing,” Lukaku said.

“It gives me a buzz to do more and I want to continue playing.
“For me as a youngster, I have come here to learn and to continue learning. I just want to show the club that whenever they need me I am ready.”
