Chelsea out to upset league leaders

Chelsea manager, Andre Villas Boas, is setting his sights on Sunday’s game against Manchester United, and is confident his team can win at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese boss has dropped only two points in his first four opening fixtures in the Premier League, and got his new Champions League campaign off to a good start by winning 2-0 against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.

The manager said: “We will go there to try to win it. It’s going to be a very good early-season game.”

Villas Boas is wary of the excellent start the Red Devils have made however, adding: “A team that has made its impact at the beginning of the Premier League is different from last year, but I think it provokes in us a good challenge.”

Faltering forward, Fernando Torres, was instrumental in the 2-0 win over Leverkusen, and when asked whether the Spaniard would start against United on Sunday, the Blues’ boss commented: “We have another couple of days to train, and he will compete with the other four for that position. We have to take the best decision possible.”
