Chelsea Star Out For Up To A Month

New Chelsea boss Andres Villas-Boas has confirmed an almighty blow to his teams start to the new campaign by confirming that Petr Cech has been ruled out for three to four weeks due to a medial knee injury he suffered in training on Wednesday. This will rule out their number 1 for the games against West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Sunderland and possibly the crucial game away to Manchester United.

David Luiz has also been ruled out of this weekend’s game against Albion, however there is a strong possibility he will return in time for the following weekend at home to Norwich. However Chelsea have been boosted by the return of John Obi Mikel who had looked a doubt for this weekend’s game due to the kidnapping of his father.

The signing of Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht has just been confirmed; who Chelsea are hoping will be ready to play come Saturday afternoon.
