Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran had revealed he has asked to be sent out on loan this season however feels he can make his stand in the Chelsea first team.
Carlo Ancelotti presented the midfielder with a chance in the senior ranks last season, but due to growing pressure on the Italian manager, his chances in the side went as the season progressed.
Since the arrival of new boss Andre Villas-Boas, the 18-year-old has been left wondering where he stands within the squad, leaving him to feel that a spell elsewhere would be more beneficial. However McEachran has been assured by Villas-Boas that staying at Chelsea would be better for the England U21 international.
McEachran told The Sun: “I did ask to go out on loan at the start of the season but Andre said he wants me to stay because he thinks I will get enough games here.”
“I saw in the paper that Fabio Capello wanted me to go on loan to get more experience but Andre is my manager and if he wanted me to go on loan, that’s what I’d do.
“It’s not going to happen before the window closes next week, but maybe it could happen in the New Year.”
