Chelsea striker will stay if no offers made around £8m mark
Chelsea FC striker Nicolas Anelka is likely to stay at Stamford Bridge for the coming season unless Chelsea are made an offer of around £8m for the 32 year old.
The figure alone suggests Chelsea are not too keen to let the Frenchman leave with few clubs willing to pay that amount of money for someone in their thirties. It was at first believed that the striker would try to sanction a move to the United States to take part in the MLS competition however any interest from New York Red Bulls seems to have diminished.
With no other club likely to spend £8m on Anelka another season with Chelsea does look very likely although there has been some interest from PSG who now have the cash to be able to spend on those with just a few years remaining and a low sell on fee.
