Chelsea FC winger Yossi Benayoun is the subject of a move with a lot of speculation suggesting the 31 year old could be on his way to Newcastle United or perhaps even Italian Serie A side Roma.
It has not been the best of moves for Benayoun since his arrival in 2010, picking up just 7 league appearance after suffering from a ruptured achilles last September. With Chelsea’s manager Andre Villas Boas confirming he is very much looking for two midfielders one would be forgiven for believing that Benayoun’s departure could open the door for yet another winger to arrive over the next two weeks.
The Stamford Bridge club are yet to make any major summer signings, with Lukaku the only one yet to step through the Stamford Bridge doors but with the club certainly looks to add width and players of a young age one can expect the West London club to conduct soem serious transfer business over the next 15 days.
