Bournemouth goalkeeper Shawn Jalal is disappointed that the club are yet to offer him a new contract. The stopper, aged 27, has a year left to run on his current contract, and feels that his services to the club have warranted an extension.
Jalal commented: “I am in the last year of my contract so both myself and the club are keen to do something. Unfortunately, we couldn’t come to an agreement which was a shame”
Jalal insists that he wants to stay with the League One oufit and that at the moment, “the ball is in Bournemouth’s court”.
The stopper continued, stating: “In the meantime, I will carry on giving 100 percent for Bournemouth as I usually do. But it is disappointing that nothing has come of the talks.”
