Borussia Dortmund will be looking to consolidate their position at the top of the Bundesliga this weekend when they travel to relegation threatened Cologne on Sunday afternoon, in a match you can watch live streaming with Bet365 (see below).
Going into this weekend, Dortmund are five points clear of Bayern Munich and are in an excellent position to win the league this year. They need to take one game at a time though, knowing that every victory is a step closer to 1st position.
Looking at their recent form, there are certainly no signs that they will be slipping up anytime soon. They haven’t tasted defeat in the league since the 18th September last year and they have won 16 of their last 20 games, drawing the other four.

Most recently, they have been solid rather than spectacular, with a 1-0 victory at home to Werder Bremen last time out in the Bundesliga. They also needed extra-time to progress past Greuther Fürth in the DFB Pokal semi-final during the week.
Now is the perfect time for Dortmund to raise their game though as they search for major honours this season, retaining their league title in the process.
As for Cologne, they may appear relatively comfortable in 13th position at the moment, but they are only three points above the bottom three and could very easily be dragged into further trouble this weekend.

Their recent form is worrying too with just one victory in their last six games. They have also only won twice since the winter break with six defeats in their last nine games. Quite simply, it is easy to see why they are where they are.
Looking at when these two met earlier in the season, Dortmund ran out 5-0 winners and there will be many expecting a similar result this time around.
However, Cologne are fighting for points and Dortmund haven’t quite been at their best in the last couple of weeks, so you never quite know what will happen.
This one gets underway at 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
