Croatia international and current Rangers striker Nikica Jelavić has claimed that Manchester United and his agent are “in contact” suggesting a move for the 25 year old may be on the cards this summer.
The Croatian, who turns 26 in August has been in excellent form for the Ibrox sign this season scoring an impressive 18 goals so far.
Jelavić has also claimed to the Croatian press that a transfer figure has already been mentioned.
“I know United are interested. My agent has established contact with them but that’s all I know. My agent has mentioned a figure of £13million and I came to Rangers for £4m so it would be a big gain for the club.”
Whilst this may disappoint Manchester United fans who are expecting some big name summer transfers this season it remains to be seen whether Jelavić, who joined Rangers only last year, will next season be playing at Old Trafford.
