Daley Blind gives warning to current and future players

The Manchester United midfielder has stated that Louis van Gaal is not one to be trifled with as the Dutchman is not impressed by price tags

The Netherlands international signed for The Red Devils from Ajax Amsterdam last summer and has said that Louis van Gaal is not one of those managers who would be impressed by players just because they are on a high payroll and that the club paid a lot of money to get their hands on them.

After 43 million pound striker, Radamel Falcao was axed from the match day squad by Van Gaal in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton, Blind says that Van Gaal is more interested in the sporting aspect of the player rather than his hefty price.

While talking to reporters, he said that although Van Gaal knows that the team has been assembled expensively, he expects each and every single player to train and work hard every day if they want to earn a place in the starting XI.

“The price-tags in the team are expensive and the manager has said that as well, so you have to train, every day, very hard to show yourself and show you really want to play,” said Blind.
