Danny Gabbidon has joined up with Queens Park Rangers for training before a possible move is announced.
Gabbidon would be available on a free transfer after he saw out the last of his contract at Upton Park this year.
The central defender spoke about his first impressions on the club and his admiration for Neil Warnock’s Premier League new boys:
“I have been impressed by the manager’s ideas for the club and what he intends to do in the Premier League next season.”
Gabbidon’s agant Jamie Moralee has also commented on his approval of the move, after claiming that “Danny had several offers from home and abroad”.
Moralee added: “Neil is interested in Danny as he is a quality defender and his wealth of Premier League experience could prove helpful for them this season.”
