Manchester Untied shot stopper, David De Gea has calmed down fears that he will be leaving the club for Real Madrid by the end of the current campaign
Following a series of sensational displays that have helped his club put in a string of fine results at home and on the road, De Gea has established his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment.
Naturally, his excellent form has alerted Real Madrid who are now eyeing him as the perfect replacement for Iker Casillas. However, De Gea, who is considered by many as the one true heir of legendary Dane Peter Schmeichel, has stated that he is loving life at Manchester and is not looking to leave the club.
The youngster’s contract runs out in 2016 and although he has not signed a new deal yet, the former Atletico Madrid custodian says that he is in love with the club and is not looking to leave anytime soon.
“I enjoy my time here currently as much as I did on day one,” said de Gea.
And the Spain international says that the injury problems the club has experienced have not affected the team and the incoming young players have filled in admirably for the senior members.
