Dirk Kuyt urges Carroll to calm down
The striker’s latest outburst came in Saturday’s 2-0 friendly win against Valencia, when he was lucky not to be sent off for a challenge on Adil Rami.
The 22 year-old scored in just six minutes and has been called upon by teammate and fellow goalscorer, Dirk Kuyt, to curb his aggression lest it hinder his progression.
Dutchman Kuyt commented: “You always have to be careful not to get silly cards. You don’t want to end up getting suspended,”
Dalglish remains confident in his £35m signing however, saying: “You could see he’s over his injury, the way he was flying about.”
