Dutch side PSV Eindhoven are considering a move for their former defender and current Chelsea left-back Patrick van Aanholt.
The 21 year old defender originally joined from PSV in 2007 having spent two years within their youth setup. Whilst at Chelsea the youngster has spent spells at Coventry, Newcastle United, Leicester City and is currrently playing for Roberto Martinez’s Wigan Athletic.
A lack of high quality performances have seen Aanholt not make the Chelsea first team and despite only just turning 21 there are suggestions surround the club that he may not be god enough as a Chelsea player for the future.
PSV are – as most Dutch sides – considered a selling club, however sources in Holland claim they would be interested in bringing the Dutchman back on a permanent basis but will only be able to do so in the summer with Aanholt on a seasons long loan deal.
Should he improve dramatically it may change Chelsea’s stance however at this current stage the club are believed to be ready to listen to offers next summer.
