It seems as though Premiership teams cannot get enough of Edinson Cavani. The Napoli striker – currently on loan from Palermo – has been the subject of huge speculation in recent weeks and it now looks as though Tottenham and Arsenal are to be added to the list of interested clubs joining Manchester City and Chelsea.
The 24 year old striker has had many clubs scouting his progress over the last few months and it has been reported that a move to the Premiership is almost a certainty – which team though will only be known when he is seen wearing the shirt.
Some figures quoted for the player seem extremely high and may be too much for the likes of Arsenal and perhaps even Tottenham meaning both Chelsea and Manchester City will be trying to outbid each other for the Uruguayan star.
It has been suggested that Palermo will now allow their asset depart unless a bid of at least £25m comes in for the player meaning it will be a very interesting summer for the four Premiership clubs trying to tempt him to join.
