England v Moldova Odds : World Cup Qualifier campaign kicks off as punters pile into away win

England get their World Cup 2014 qualifying campaign underway on Friday with a trip to Moldova, as Paddy Power announce a free bets offer on the game and report all the money has come in for the away win, where Roy Hodgson will want nothing less than three points.

The Three Lions had a good result in a friendly with Italy last month, taking the match 2-1 and showing some encouraging signs with a young team.

Hodgson looks as though he is keen to give youngsters experience at international level to prepare them for the World Cup in Brazil, but also has experienced campaigners to carry them through.

This time out, Steven Gerrard will captain the side and could have the likes of Frank Lampard, John Terry and Ashley Cole in the side with him.

England v Moldova : Paddy Power Free Bet Offer

Its a bumper Friday of World Cup Qualifiers, as Paddy Power celebrate with the announcement of a new free bets offer worth £250/250 to all customers to spend on any match, and will refund bets if Steven Gerrard scores the last goal! Claim here!

Then you have players such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tom Cleverley, Kyle Walker and Daniel Sturridge who are all looking to show that they can cut it at the highest level.

This is a match that England will be expected to win and they will want to get this qualifying campaign off to the perfect start.

As for Moldova, they know that it does not get much tougher than this to start things off. However, it will be a good indication to see where they are at as a team.

Should they take a result, then they can be confident of qualifying for the World Cup.

That said though, it would be a massive upset if they are to take anything from this and England should have far too much for Moldova on the night. It may be more about doing the country proud rather than the result.

It will be a massive occasion for these players who will relish the opportunity to go up against some of the world’s best players and a giant of world football.

This looks to be an interesting watch and it all gets underway from 7.45pm.
