Leicester boss, Sven Goran Eriksson, is looking sign another striker as he continues his efforts to mount a charge on the Championship title.
The Swede has made nine summer signings so far and is reportedly close to a tenth in the form of St. Etienne midfielder, Gelson Fernandes, who played under Eriksson at Manchester City.
The 63 year-old has already made nine summer signings including the likes of John Pantsil on a free transfer and the more recent transfer of Manchester City midfielder, Michael Johnson, on a season-long loan deal.
Eriksson is apparently poised to stage a last-ditch effort to sign Middlesborough forward, Leroy Lita, despite news that the former-Reading frontman is close to signing for Premier League new boys, Swansea City.
The manager spoke to the Leicester Mercury, noting: “We want two players for every position and we have that with defenders and midfielders now,”
“We hope to get the same for the strikers, so we hope one or two more will come in,” he added.
