Looking at Liverpool to begin with, they head to Udinese is what is sure to be a very tough encounter.

The Reds have to go to Italy and win to guarantee a place in the knockout stages. If not, they must match the result that Young Boys manage in Anzhi Makhachkala.

Brendan Rodgers is set to start with Luis Suarez with so much at stake, with the Uruguayan suspended for the Reds trip to West Ham on the weekend. Steven Gerrard is unavailable through injury, together with Lucas Leiva and Daniel Agger who will not make the trip to Italy.

Udinese have lost three games on the bounce in Europe and have struggled domestically, although they did get back to winning ways with a  4-1 win over Cagliari last weekend in Serie A, and Francesco Guidolin can always call upon the talismatic Antonio Di Natale to lead the line.

With the Italians already eliminated however and the Reds needing a win to confirm their qualification, the evens available looks more than a worthy wager.

As for Tottenham, they can reach the knockout stages if they avoid defeat at home to Panathinaikos at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have still not lost in the Europa League this campaign, so Andre Villas-Boas will feel confident that his men will be safely though to the next stage of the competition come the final whistle.

With the Greek side having it all to play for though and knowing three points would move them into second place, it is not going to be an easy 90 minutes for the North Londoners, but the 3/10 available on the home win tells us all we need to know as to how the bookies think this one will turn out.

Then, Newcastle are away to French outfit Bordeaux and this is a battle between two sides going for top spot in this group, with the Toon already assured of qualification to the next round.

The Magpies are one point behind their opponents, but Alan Pardew is sure to rest a number of players and give youngsters the chance to prove themselves, especially as he will not want to take risks and add to his ever-growing injury list.

Francis Gillot is sure to want his side to continue their unbeaten run at home this season, as their price of 8/11 looks a solid proposition.

Newcastle can relax going into this one, but both Liverpool  and Tottenham could be in for a nervy 90 minutes.
