The Swans are the big favourites to reach the play-off round of qualifying as they tore their opponents apart in the first leg of this encounter, winning 4-0 at Liberty Stadium by playing some superb football.

It might still only be pre-season time for many clubs, but the Welsh side look to be extremely fit and fresh. The strike pairing of Miguel Michu and Wilfried Bony already look to have a great partnership and they shared three goals in the first leg.

Bony and Michu are sure to be the key men once more, but Michael Laudrup could wrap them up in cotton wool as the tie looks to be all-but won. The Dane wants to build plenty of momentum ahead of the new Premier League season though, so will be looking to win this match and you can back Swansea at 11/10, so they are the favourites to win on the night.

You can be sure that the Welsh side will come to Sweden to play their natural attacking football and if at their best, then the visitors might just tear their opponents apart as they are one of the best teams to watch when passing the ball around the park with intensity.

Laudrup knows that the demand of the Europa League is huge, but he will be desperate to get in the tournament and see how his squad cope in a European tournament. The Premier League remains the priority of course, but this competition should be taken seriously.

With a 4-0 lead coming into this one, it is going to take something incredible from Malmo – or shocking from Swansea – for the Premier League side not to progress.

Malmo are on home soil and in good form domestically, but they are going to struggle to make this a competitive tie.

As they are 18 games into their season, the Swedes should be in prime condition when it comes to match fitness, but they lacked that quality in the first leg and couldn’t cope with the attacking talent of Swansea.

However, Malmo have bounced back since that defeat as they were 3-1 winners away from home over the weekend in the Swedish top flight, so confidence might have been reinstalled.

Although this is going to be a near impossible task, the hosts have to come out and attack right from the off and if they get a couple of early goals, then they might just start to believe. If you want a bet on the home side winning on the night, you can back them at 14/5. The draw is then at 13/5.

This should be an interesting encounter between two good sides and all of the action gets underway from 6.45pm. Swansea will be looking to get the job done, as well as keeping key players fresh.
